DC Rebound High TX History
Since 1994, DC Shoes has been providing sleek skate styles, fit for generations of casual wearers and athletes alike. Founders Damon Way and Ken Block envisioned a skate brand that would offer urban styles for creative and driven individuals. This vision can be seen with each model the brand releases. Initially based in Carlsbad, California, the company has since moved its headquarters to Huntington Beach.
In 2004, the company was purchased by Australian sports brand Quiksilver. Over the years, DC Shoes has been known for sponsoring popular skateboarders, releasing videos and creating signature shoes. Sneakers from the brand are distinct for their classic looks that can be used on and off the board. One such shoe that showcases the best of DC is the Rebound High TX.
A skate-inspired model, the shoe has a notable retro look. It’s the canvas version of the well-loved Rebound High sneaker, which was made of leather. This high-top shoe that’s made for women has a simple skate appeal that makes it suitable for casual everyday use. It has the trademark design details of DC skate kicks, lending it a timeless and street-ready appeal.

With its high-cut ankle collar, the DC Rebound High TX looks great with any pair of jeans, especially in black or dark blue denim. T-shirts along with a jacket will complete any go-to casual outfit with these kicks. Shorts and skirts can also be paired with these sneakers for an edgy appeal. These shoes are perfect for creating a sporty yet laidback flair.
Fit & sizing
The high-top DC Rebound High TX is a women’s shoe, with sizes from 5-11 in medium width. It fits true to size, although it's been found by some run small and narrow. A sturdy fit can be expected from the sneaker's canvas upper, along with its lace-up system. Its high-cut collar provides excellent support for the ankle.
A canvas upper provides a lightweight and breathable fit for the DC Rebound High TX, which incorporates trademark DC details. Embroidered on the sides is the DC logo, which can also be found on the tongue and at the bottom of the laces. A striking asymmetrical collar provides a contrasting design to the model’s skate shoe silhouette. The collar is also padded along with the tongue for added comfort.
- The sticky rubber outsole is made to be abrasion-resistant.
- Also on the outsole is DC’s characteristic Pill Pattern tread.
- Breathability is offered by the shoe’s mesh lining.
- The sneaker’s cup construction offers support and durability.
