Good to know

The low-top DC Kalis is available in men's sizing. It has bootie construction reinforced with laces for a secured fit and comfortable strides. The inner part of the sneaker was lined with mesh for breathability.

Also, DC used the Ortholite footbed and Unilite technology on its midsole for lightweight cushioning, thus enhancing the overall comfortable feel and support.

The Kalis from the DC displays a look, typical like any other skateboarding sneakers. It was constructed with suede, nubuck, leather, or even textile, depending on the colorway presented. The most popular colorways are the black/grey/white and the triple black hues. To make this kick look more stylish, the brand added angles and patterns on its midsole.

Aside from wearing it with the usual Thrasher attire, there are several other ways on how DC Kalis will look fashionable on their feet. Pair this sneaker up with a crew-neck shirt paired with black jeans for a stylish, smart casual attire. Also, this sneaker looks cool when matched up with a sweater and grey-colored dress pants.

Its classic and versatile look are the reasons that make the DC Kalis a notable pair in the sneaker market. Many buyers love its clean style added with angles and patterns to make it more distinct. In addition, many buyers love this pair's upper that was made with mixed materials with distinct fine craftsmanship.

DC established its company in 1994 as a producer of premium quality footwear with remarkable style specifically for skateboarding. Since then, the brand has been unstoppable, producing top-notch products that are comparable with other more popular brands.

To further enhance its popularity and improve its products, DC partnered with professional skateboarders. One of them is with Josh Kalis, a global professional American skater. He was known all around the world for his skateboarding style.

He joined the DC camp in 1997 first as an endorser. Later on, he decided to release a collaborative project with DC as a designer of a product capsule that is durable, stylish, and comfortable on and off the skateboards.

The first in the DC Kalis lineup is the DC Kalis OG, unveiled in 1999. It was the first to flaunt the signature side panel shape. Seven years later, DC launched the clean, simple, and lightweight DC Kalis Lite that was designed for everyday versatility.

In 2019, DC modernized the DC Kalis OG and released the DC Kalis. This modernized sneaker aimed to provide improved performance and wearability.

  • The DC Kalis for men has a sticky, abrasion-resistant rubber outsole with DC trademark pill-pattern that provides a reliable grip on surfaces.
