Size and fit

The DC Anvil TX SE is a unisex shoe that is exclusively offered in men's sizes. Unlike older DC shoes, the newer released Anvil models were noticeably narrower. Some consumers even made a side-by-side comparison of the DC shoes, and it showed that the Anvil measured the same in length but slimmer in width. This could be the reason why going half a size up is recommended.
