Columbia Redmond Low Waterproof is a relatively true-to-size low-cut hiker for men and women. It comes in whole and half sizes. The women’s version is available in standard while the men’s version is offered in standard and wide. Its standard lace-up closure affords wearers a customized fit.
The Redmond Low Waterproof is equipped with a non-marking Omni-Grip outsole. Columbia developed this proprietary traction solution that blends rubber compounds and treads to deliver a grip on various trail conditions. Its lugs are responsible for multi-directional traction. It also extends to the front of the shoe to provide added abrasion protection.
Columbia has equipped the Redmond Low Waterproof with a full-length Techlite midsole. It affords wearers with lightweight cushioning, support, and shock absorption. It also increases impact absorption and helps yield better energy return to help wearers feel less weary on the trail.
This shoe combines suede leather, mesh, and webbing to form the upper. To keep water out, the Redmond Low Waterproof is equipped with the Omni-Tech waterproof breathable seam-sealed membrane. It is a multi-layer system, making it a hiking shoe with ample water protection, keeping the feet dry.
Also featured is a toe cap that protects against abrasions. Its padded tongue and collar offer extra comfort. Its front closure includes mixed eyelets and a round lace. A heel loop also allows for an easy on and off.
