-Built for outdoor junkies ready to kick some trail, the Columbia Firecamp Boot lets hikers survive cold weather conditions. It features a waterproof yet breathable construction called Omni-Tech and a lightweight EVA midsole for support and comfort.

-The boot also integrates a 200g insulation to keep the foot warm even in frigid temperatures up to -25F/-32C. Meanwhile, it’s high-traction sole helps hikers remain sure-footed on challenging terrain.

Columbia Firecamp is a high-cut winter boot for men and women. The elastic nylon upper allows for a comfortable fit. Also, the lace-up closure lets the wearer adjust the fit easily.

Similar to the other top winter boots from Columbia, the Firecamp hiking shoe incorporates the Omni-Grip™ technology. This highly durable rubber outsole is uniquely designed with multi-directional treads which add more traction and promote acceleration, especially on hills. The non-marking outsole of Columbia Firecamp hiker ensures maximum friction and a smooth ride even on uneven terrain.

For the midsole, this hiking boot from Columbia is made with EVA - a special type of foam known for being lightweight, soft, and flexible. This footwear features the Techlite™ technology which is designed to provide strong cushioning, shock absorption, and high energy return. This means that the midsole absorbs energy and much of this energy is regained as it expands back to its unloaded stage during push-offs.

All these qualities give the shoe a lighter feel despite the presence of a waterproof membrane and insulation.

The shoe upper is made with Cordura textile which is an alternative to expensive leather hiking boots. Cordura is made of hard-wearing woven fabric. It is resistant to scuffing, abrasion, and tear, which adds to the shoe’s long-lasting performance. However, if you prefer leather boots, you can check out our list of leather hiking boots

Columbia Firecamp Boot’s waterproof construction is created through the integration of a seam-sealed membrane called Omni-Tech™. Furthermore, this hiking boot from Columbia comes with a 200g insulation to protect the foot against extremely cold weather. Completing the upper is a lace-up closure that helps the wearer achieve a custom fit.
