Use - The Nike Zoom Maxcat 4 is built for sprinters who are looking for a lightweight and pliable running shoe. It is built to deliver optimal performance in mid-distance races, ranging from 100 meters to 800 meters.
Spike Type - Best suited for rubber tracks, the shoe features five pyramid spikes. These are ¼- inch in length, providing superior grip and traction.
Spike Plate - For a good balance between flexibility and rigidity, the Zoom Maxcat 4 employs a three-fingered Pebax® plate. It enhances traction and acceleration without sacrificing weight.

For torsional rigidity, a carbon fiber shank in the midfoot is utilized.
Just like its predecessor, the Nike Zoom Maxcat 4 still employs the same upper material—synthetic over mesh upper. Such design enables a secure wrap around the foot while allowing sufficient breathability. A similar upper design is also integrated into the Nike Zoom Rival M 9.
The Flywire technology consists of high-strength threads that operate like suspension bridge cables. It gives highly precise support to the foot, securing lockdown. Overall, the primary aim of Flywire technology is to maximize support and minimize weight.
