Mike Trout’s Trout 6 cleats look to be a game-changer in the performance arena and a head-turner on the field. Several of Nike’s biggest stars, such as Max Scherzer and Matt Carpenter, have taken to wearing Trout models in the past, and it looks to be no different with this pair. The design carries over winning features from previous Trout cleats, including the toe cap from the Trout 4 and the textured design of the Trout 5, and the result is beautiful.
Made in collaboration with one of the greats in baseball, Mike Trout, one can expect a lot from the sixth release of the Nike Force Zoom Trout baseball cleat. Taking inspiration from the five-tool player, this baseball cleat is designed to deliver a stable and lightweight feel, particularly in the upper. Taking design inspirations from the player, there are elements integrated into the upper that tell the player’s story. The number 856 is the area code for the player’s hometown of Millville, Nj. In addition to this, style and functionality are fused with the arrowhead design used for the straps. This design is an homage to Trout’s love for hunting.
Making use of Flyweave technology, the upper material envelops the foot while providing form-fitting and lightweight feel.
The well-praised Nike Zoom Air technology is used for the shoe’s midsole. This innovation is used to deliver lightweight cushioning for this baseball cleat model.
There are a total of nine metal studs in the outsole of the Nike baseball shoe. Six metal studs are placed in the forefoot while three are integrated into the heel area. This configuration ensures optimal traction in the diamond.
The Nike Force Zoom Trout 6 baseball cleat features a traditional lacing system. While being the cleat’s closure system, it also serves as a fit customization tool while locking the foot in place.
The Flyweave upper of the Nike Force Zoom Trout 6 baseball cleat delivers form-fitting, one-piece design. Developed by the brand, the pair delivers a lightweight fit. The area also carries some elements inspired by Mike Trout. The number 856 stands for the area code of Millville, New Jersey - the star athlete’s hometown. The arrowhead design of the straps is also reminiscent of the athlete’s love of hunting.
The midsole of this Nike baseball shoe makes use of Nike Zoom Air technology. The innovation features pressurized zoom air units that are designed to absorb impact for every step taken. Tensile fibers are also present to amp up responsiveness. These units are found in the forefoot and heel areas.
