  • The Aku Serai GTX is a high-cut boot that’s built for technical climbing trips. Its upper is made of a combination of sturdy kevlar, nylon, and microfiber fabric materials. The upper is lined with layers of Primaloft and Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort for water protection and thermal insulation.
  • The boot’s midsole incorporates a dual-density polyurethane (PU) exoskeleton for cushioning and stability. Its Vibram Nepal outsole is engineered to deliver traction on snow, ice and rocky ridges.

The Serai GTX is a high-cut, unisex mountaineering boot which is offered in a regular width profile. Women must go 1/2 size down to get the correct fit. This Aku product comes in a range of whole and half sizes. The gear’s lace-up closure system is paired with a velcro strap on the collar to achieve a secure and personalized fit. Moreover, the product fairly runs true to size.
