Use - Configured primarily as a mid-range running spike, the Brooks Wire v4 is a multi-purpose track shoe. It generates an explosive performance in distance races ranging from middle-distance to long-distance meets.

Spike Type - Ideal for rubber track surfaces, pyramid pins are affixed to the shoe’s spike plate. These spike pins are ¼ inch in length, yielding lightweight, superior traction.

Spike Plate - For flexibility and unrestricted foot movements, a ¾ in length Pebax® plate runs on the outsole. This is intended to amplify durability and superior surface grip. It also houses the pyramid pins for multi-surface traction.

An enhanced midsole composition is one of the most highlighted refinements made to the Brooks Wire v4. This iteration poses for a more cushioned and responsive track performance.

To adhere to the track spike's pledge of featherlight fashion, ultra-light materials are incorporated into its general makeup. For instance, the upper material of the running shoe consists of mesh. Aside from providing a breathable fit, it also maintains flexible qualities.

The shoe’s trimmed Pebax® plate also plays a role in maintaining minimal weight. Although reduced in length, the distance plate still supplements the same aggressive traction.

The Brooks Wire v4 is designed in men’s standard width. Thus, women are advised to go 1.5 sizes down to achieve precise fit and size.

One of the key components responsible for the snug wrap of the platform around the foot is the mesh upper. This conforms to the natural shape and contours of the foot. For reinforcement, 3D-printed overlays are embellished to the upper. For superior lockdown, a no-sew forefoot capture is implemented. Lastly, the customizable fit of the track running shoe is supplied by its lace-up closure.

Similar to the Nike Zoom JA Fly 3, a Pebax® plate is equipped to the Wire v4. It keeps a good balance between stiffness and weight, allowing a propulsive ride. It also gives cushioning to the underfoot and attenuates shock upon impact. Most importantly, it strengthens the sturdiness of the mid-distance running shoe with its attributes.

Flaunting Brooks’ renowned midsole technology—BioMoGo foam— the Wire v4 is styled especially for responsiveness and comfort. This midsole unit is made out of biodegradable and environmentally-friendly materials. It is responsible for giving a steady push-off with its impact-absorbing characteristics.

For ultra-light construction, the Brooks Wire v4 features a mesh upper. This material allows maximum security without sacrificing agility. Ample ventilation within the foot chamber is also promoted. This quality allows for a healthy foot environment, diminishing bacteria build-up. This, in turn, delivers an odor-free platform.

Strategically welded on the upper are 3D-printed overlays. These heighten the structural integrity and support of the running spike.

Intended to hold the foot in place, a no-sew forefoot capture is implemented. Because it presents a seamless configuration, it supplements an irritation-free running experience.

For a dialed-in, accurate fit, a traditional lace-up fastening system is applied.
