  • The Trance 13 from Brooks is a stability running shoe that’s made for those who need additional support and stability during their runs. It’s important for the foot to stay balanced and in a stable position when performing and when standing idly, so this running shoe delivers sure support and protection all throughout the gait cycle. High quality components are placed in the internal and external sections, making sure that it stays efficient, even after many uses.
  • The external sole unit of the Brooks Trance 13 was designed to function well on the roads and even trails. Its outsole unit features a rubber material that gives additional springiness to every step. It is able to hold onto the ground well, making sure that surface control is afforded to the wearer at all times. A Caterpillar Crash Pad assists the foot in transitioning from the heel to the forefoot.
  • The mid-sole unit of this running shoe uses cushioning systems that are tuned to the wearer’s exact needs. The foam used here provides contoured support because it follows the natural shape of the underside of the foot. It’s resilient and resistant to breakage, making sure that it is able to provide durable and dependable cushioning to the wearer.
  • The upper unit is made from strong, but breathable materials. The fabrics are soft and easy on the skin, so the runner can wear this shoe without socks. Overlays maintain the structure of the upper while also making sure that the foot is wrapped snugly and securely.

The Brooks Trance 13 has a regular running shoe length. It comes in sizes that follow the standard measurements for men and women. The width of this shoe is medium, so it accommodates those who have medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape adheres to the natural shape of the human foot.

An abrasion-resistant rubber is used for the rear section of the outsole. It’s meant to protect the rest of the sole unit from wear and tear, making sure that the underfoot receives protection from impact, as well, especially when it comes to the heel striking phase of the gait cycle.

Blown Rubber is used in the forefoot section of the outsole. It’s a durable material that shields the sole unit from abrasion, but it’s also very responsive, adding more cushioning and lift to the runner, especially during the toe-off phase where springiness is a helpful addition.

Just like the Brooks popular stability shoe, the Adrenaline GTS 19, the Trance 13 uses the full Length DNA foam as the main underfoot cushioning system of the Brooks Trance 13. Made from high quality materials, it assumes the shape of the wearer’s foot, making the underfoot platform fell very tuned to the very needs of the actual runner.

Durable and biodegradable cushioning is afforded by the Stacked BioMoGo Midsole. It adds more form to the platform while also making sure that it is able to carry the foot and the weight of the runner with ease.

The 3D Caterpillar Crash Pad makes the transitions from the heel to the toe easier and more agreeable to the performance of the runner. Taking each step doesn’t feel stiff or clunky because it’s responsive.

Omega Flex Grooves provide flexibility to the runner by making the mid-sole more movable. It allows the foot to move seamlessly, never feeling as if the platform is holding it down or limiting its capability to naturally move.

Stability is afforded by the stretchy rubber saddle in the mid-foot section. It hugs the foot and keeps it in a balanced position. An external heel counter adds more stability while also preventing any accidental shoe removal.

A breathable mesh material is used as the main upper unit of the Brooks Trance 13. It allows air to seamlessly enter the shoe in order to keep the foot cool and dry. It’s easy on the skin and it moves along with the foot.

Stitched-on overlays add more stability to the foot. They help the upper unit in hugging the foot in a snug, but customizable manner. They are directly connected to the lacing system, so they respond to every adjustment made to the shoelaces.

The tongue of this running shoe has been stitched on the sides of the shoe, making sure that it won’t shift or crumple. The lacing system efficiently holds the tongue, as well.

The BioMoGo Profile Sock Liner adds more durable cushioning to the immediate underfoot. The 5mm thickness heightens the underfoot comfort and gives the mid-sole more substance when the foot is standing on it. It also follows the contours of the wearer’s foot.
