- The Berghaus FT18 GTX is a low-cut hiking shoe that places emphasis on comfort and lightness for outdoor enthusiasts. Its Ripstop upper is lined with a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane which seals out water without compromising breathability.
- The shoe’s midsole is made of lightweight ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam, creating a cushioned ride for the user. Its Opti-Stud outsole is engineered to grip on virtually all types of surfaces.
The FT18 GTX is a men’s hiking shoe that’s available in a range of whole and half sizes. It comes in a standard width profile. The gear’s lace-up closure grants a personalized lockdown to the wearer. Moreover, this Berghaus product fairly runs true to size.
Surface traction is handled by the Berghaus FT18 GTX’s Opti-Stud outsole. Its profile is filled with a pattern of aggressive lugs which grip on uneven terrain. The outsole is made from a durable rubber compound which makes it resistant to wear and tear. Also, the sole extends towards the toe box to provide additional protection against stubbing.
This low-cut hiking shoe is equipped with a lightweight EVA midsole for cushioning and shock absorption. It’s paired with a removable Ortholite footbed which grants arch support and underfoot comfort.
