The Bedrock Cairn Pro Adventure aims to provide surefootedness on various terrain types. Its upper features premium webbing straps, a plug-less toe post and durable hardware.

It has a minimalist footbed that renders maximum ground feel and flexibility. A sticky Vibram Regolith outsole enhances performance.

The Cairn Pro Adventure from Bedrock is a fairly true-to-size hiking sandal. It has a unisex sizing and ladies are advised to get a size down than what they usually wear for the best fit. It has three-point adjustment zones that yield a dialed-in fit.

Providing traction on almost all types of terrain is a Vibram Regolith outsole. It is made of Megagrip compound that balances performance and durability. Its rugged make-up promotes automatic shedding of mud and debris. Also, it is optimized to provide ground adherence over wet surfaces.

This vegan-friendly sandal employs a Granite Grip footbed. It has a textured design that prevents the foot from sliding, especially over rugged terrain. It yields foot-to-sole traction for a more stable ride.

The Bedrock Cairn Pro Adventure hiking sandal uses a patent-pending Y-strap design made of premium webbing. Its straps are 3/4-inch wide, and a paracord is used as a toe post that helps keep the foot in place. At the rearfoot is the brand’s very own Sole Hugger that enhances stability when tackling rugged grounds.

The closure system has three adjustment zones that employ metal and acetal hardware. It has a ladder lock at the lateral side while a slide buckle is placed at the medial side. A Velcro closure is used at the back of the sandal.

  • Bedrock has a “Re-Soul Program” that offers repairs and resole options at a reasonable cost. For sandals with a worn-out Vibram outsole, owners can send the run down pair back to Bedrock. The brand’s engineers will then tack the old straps onto a new sole unit (which includes a new set of footbed and outsole). The resoling service cost starts at $60.
  • For repairs, any damaged part of the strapping system can be replaced or fixed at a certain amount. However, if the issue falls under the brand’s Rock Solid Warranty, the repair is free of charge.
