It's very stable. It doesn't bend much.
Use - The Speedform Sprint Pro is ideal for running meets. As suggested by its name, it is perfect for sprinting and short-distance running competitions. These can range from 100 meters up until 400 meters.
Spike Type - Best suited for track rubber surfaces, pyramid pins are assigned to the sprint shoe. These measure ¼ inch in height and are changeable. This is intended to maximize grip while addressing the varying needs of the athletes.
Spike Plate - Similar to most track spikes, it features a Pebax® plate that’s ¾ in length. It flaunts a good ratio between rigidity and lightness, promoting propulsion.
Since comfort and security come hand-in-hand with the Speedform Sprint Pro, it features ultra-sonic welded seaming. It goes along with the Flex Gear overlays that keep the structural reinforcement of the spike.
Lastly, a ¾-length Pebax® plate is equipped on the shoe’s outsole. It delivers a good balance of flexibility and durability, powering the performance of the athlete.
Situated on the heel is a sharkskin plate. It boosts the traction of the sprint spike for stability.
The Under Armour Speedform Sprint Pro is only offered in men’s sizing measurements. Thus, women are advised to deduct 1.5 from their usual size. This is to secure an accurate size.
The fit of the shoe is directly influenced by the mesh upper and Flex Gear overlays. The mesh upper wraps snugly around the foot. This is complemented by the overlays which promote structural integrity and support.
The outsole of the Under Armour Speedform Sprint Pro features a combination of a Pebax® distance plate and sharkskin plate. These outsole components are integral in maintaining the grippy traction of the running spike.
The distance spike plate is made of thermoplastic polymer that exhibits high-strength qualities. Its engineering allows for it to serve as underfoot cushioning. It also sports shock-mitigating attributes, protecting the foot from trauma. Moreover, its stiffness delivers a propulsive ride on the tracks.
To complement the plate, a sharkskin outsole is added to the configuration. It flaunts a textured rubber on the heel, promoting slip resistance. This delivers surefootedness and stability.
Added to the midsole compartment of the Speedform Sprint Pro is an EVA footbed. It consists of ultra-light materials that enable its responsiveness. Just like the shoe’s spike plate, it has impact-resistant qualities that protect the foot from injury. It is also made of high-strength materials, permitting it to withstand against natural wear and tear. The same midsole element is present in the Adidas Adizero Finesse.
The upper of the Under Armour Speedform Sprint Pro is generously fashioned with mesh. It serves as the airflow system of the sprint spike. Such engineering promotes a healthy foot environment, wicking away sweat. This prevents bacteria build-up. The mesh material also follows the natural contours of the foot, securing lockdown and intact fit.
The lining of the shoe consists of ultra-sonic welded seaming. It offers an irritation-free, in-shoe comfort.
Furthering lockdown and security, Flex Gear overlays are embellished on the upper. These push the foot into the midsole, preventing slippage and unwanted shoe removal.
