    Somewhat lightweight, extremely comfortable.

  • 86 / 100 | Gear Institute | Level 3 expert

The Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX is an all-around solid backpacking boot but lacks any special attribute that helps it to stand out from other boots in the test.

  • 85 / 100 | Gear Institute | Level 3 expert

The Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX is a heavy boot, that will probably last longer than most others in the test set, but its weight and lack of commensurate protection sank its score in our ratings.
