Traction. Rubber pads are strategically placed on the heel and toe areas to provide grip while walking on studio floors.
Breathable. The outsole also features air ventilation pockets that work in conjunction with the mesh upper to allow excellent airflow.
Power transfer. An external plate is placed in the cleat area to govern pedaling efficiency. The level of power transfer is enough for indoor cycling and casual rides.
The Nike SuperRep Cycle employs both two- and three-bolt cleat systems. It is compatible with both Look Delta and SPD pedals. If you choose to use the three-bolt design, these are the pedals you can try: Shimano Ultegra PD-R8000, Time Xpro 12 and Garmin Vector 3 Power Meter.
If you choose to use the two-bolt design, the pedals you can try are Shimano XTR M9020, Crank Brothers Mallet E and Nukeproof Horizon CS CrMo.
Allover ventilation. This breathable bike shoe keeps the top of the foot feeling cool via its lightweight mesh upper material. It works together with the vent pockets in the outsole.
Lockdown. The foot is kept in place by two hook-and-loop straps. One strap governs the forefoot area while the second one tightens the opening of the shoe. These straps can be easily adjusted even while on the saddle.
This closure system also allows easy on and off as the entrance can be opened wide and a heel pull tab is also provided.
Seamless support. Reinforcements are applied with no seams to offer support sans the rubbing and hot spots.
