Enjoy the premium experience with the Nike KD 6 Elite. This low-top basketball shoe has an upper that is made of Flywire-reinforced mesh. For cushioning, the sixth signature model for Kevin Durant has what Nike calls the 360 Zoom. It covers the full length of the shoe.
The solid rubber outsole of the shoe features a pattern that is the reverse of what is seen on the the regular KD 6: the recessed parts in the regular pattern are raised in the Elite, while the raised parts in the regular are recessed in the Elite.
Cushion. The Elite version of the KD 6 has a 360 Zoom setup in the midsole. This tooling allows the shoe to provide maximum cushioning without compromising responsiveness and court feel. With this full-length setup, the shoe is able to serve the needs of most players.
Traction. The outsole of the premium version features the same pattern as the regular version, but the grooves are reversed. That is, the recessed parts in the original pattern is raised in the elite pattern, and the raised parts in the original are recessed in the elite. This change significantly enhances the shoe’s traction.
Length and Width. Many say that the KD 6 Elite fits just like original–it’s true to size but narrow. Potential buyers are advised to just go with their usual Nike sizes. They just have to spend some time breaking the shoe in before they enjoy a more comfortable fit.
Lockdown. Like the original Nike KD 6, the elite version has a lace-up construction. Flywire cables are integrated with the upper to achieve a much more comfortable fit. These cables are connected to the laces, and they grasp the foot tighter when the laces are tightened.
The upper of the Nike KD 6 Elite is made of mesh that is backed by foam and nylon. This construction allows the shoe to be more breathable and supportive at the same time. These materials also have a premium feel to them.
The upper of the premium version of the sixth KDs has a screen-like overlay that showcases the Flywire cables beneath it. The lateral side prominently features a huge Swoosh. The top of the tongue features Kevin Durant’s 35 logo. Because these low-top basketball shoes are usually released in bright colors, they are best paired with casual and workout outfits.
Nike KD 6 Elite Hero
Nike athletes are elite players in their respective fields. They’ve achieved a lot and they surely have what it takes to accomplish more. With this premise, the Nike KD 6 Hero takes shape. Designer Leo Chang wanted to capture the superhuman capabilities that are in Kevin Durant. He is also inspired by the precise features of a wristwatch. This release features the colors turbo green, vivid pink, and nightshade.
Nike KD 6 Elite OKC
The OKC version of the Elite KD 6 is among the most expected colorways to come out. It features the colors blue and orange to honor Kevin Durant’s team, the Oklahoma City Thunder.
