Enough rigidity. The Cosmic BOA employs nylon and fiberglass soles, which yields adequate power transfer but remains comfortable enough for all-day adventures.

The sole also features the brand's Energy Comp outsole technology. It ensures a mixture of lightness, stiffness and thin build.

Ventilation holes. Air pockets are strategically placed in the outsole to promote excellent airflow and keep the foot comfortable even in warm weather.

The Mavic Cosmic BOA road shoe features the three-bolt cleat design. Some of the pedals that work well with this pair are Shimano Ultegra PD-R8000, Garmin Vector 3 Power Meter and Look Cycle Keo 2 Max Carbon.

Lockdown. This cycling shoe's closure system uses BOA L6 dials. It is easy to adjust and offers micro-adjustability. It can be tightened in increments and quickly loosened by pulling the dial.

Working with the dial are stainless steel wires that wrap along the top of the foot.

Comfort and breathability. The footwear's upper is crafted from supple synthetic microfiber that yields a snug comfortable fit. Sitting on top of the foot is a 3D EVA tongue to provide cushioning and enhanced comfort.

Strategically placed perforation holes are added for excellent ventilation.

The Mavic Cosmic BOA uses high-quality Ortholite insoles. This increases overall comfort and provides outstanding vibration absorption.
