Use - The Adidas Throwstar is designed for the thrower looking for a multi-event training and performance shoe. This Adidas track shoe is recommended for events like shot put (both rotational and glide), discus, hammer throw, and weight throw.
This track shoe is for the thrower looking to tackle the robustness of the three circles events of shot put, hammer and discus. The Throwstar has been designed to cater to all three throwing events and endure the grueling exercise that comes with them.
The Adidas Throwstar has been designed with a synthetic upper. This upper material holds the foot securely in place during all phases of throwing events.
This track running shoe also features a soft collar around the ankle which helps reduce pressure on the wearer’s ankle and Achilles.
The added strap band in the shoe’s midfoot area provides just the needed support for better fit and balance.
Lastly, the carbon rubber crepe outsole is used for the Throwstar’s durability and traction.
The fit and sizing scheme for the Adidas Throwstar comes smaller in length compared to the standard track and field shoe. Thus, buyers are recommended to go up half a size to obtain a comfortable fit. The shoe has a comparatively small forefoot and heel, which helps provide a snug fit in these said areas. It is built as a unisex-style shoe that follows men’s sizes.
The outsole on the Adidas Throwstar is built with Carbon Rubber Crepe. This is a textured rubber material that softens more with each wear, thus making this material excellent in providing the needed grip, traction, and cushioning for the feet. It also keeps the shoe durable from long wear and tear caused by frequent use.
The Throwstar’s outsole is also designed to help keep the wearer’s balance. It allows the body to maximize the power to throw for greater distances and achieve the best possible results.
In order to keep the Adidas Throwstar’s weight down, the shoe’s midsole does not contain additional cushioning technologies. In comparison, the Adidas Adizero Finesse also does away with a midsole platform, although it features a heel cushion.
The Adidas Throwstar track shoes offer supreme ventilation and breathability in the upper. It is designed with a synthetic upper material that works to reduce the amount of sweat and moisture in the foot. It keeps it cool, dry, and comfortable. It then makes the athlete run without any worries making them focus on achieving their personal best.
Aside from ventilation, the shoe’s upper possesses a soft collar around the ankle, which reduces pressure on the ankles and Achilles. This also minimizes the chances of injury or strain on that area.
A strap band also provides great midfoot support and ensures that the wearer’s stability is maintained throughout the run.
