  • Recommended for advanced mountaineering, the Asolo Manaslu GV has an upper made from avant-garde materials that work together to create a secure and comfortable boot. The top of the integrated gaiter is made elastic to keep it secured.
  • It features a sole unit which provides a cushioned and grippy ride. It combines a crampon-ready midsole and a Vibram rubber outsole.

The Asolo Manaslu GV is a high-cut mountaineering boot designed for men. It is manufactured in standard width and regular sizes. It features multiple closure systems—two lace-up closures (one for the inner boot and another for the outer boot), a zipper and a fastener for the gaiter—to let users personalize the fit. This alpine boot reasonably runs true to size.

Featuring the Vibram Mulaz outsole, the Manaslu GV can perform even at very low temperatures. It has a climbing zone at the toe area for ascents while the increased contact zone at the heel assists in descents. The boots on the side render stability, and the central lugs provide multidirectional traction.

The midsole of the Asolo Manaslu GV is a microporous dual-density rubber. This durable material has PU attachments at the toe and heel areas to receive crampons. This boot features a lasting board made of carbon and fiberglass which supports the foot and renders stability on uneven grounds.

It is equipped with an anatomic footbed made of Manaslu felt, 400 g Primaloft and a Cambrelle lining. It keeps the foot fresh, insulated and comfy.

Asolo engineers designed the upper of the Manaslu GV with an exterior gaiter (made of Cordura and laminated Kevlar reinforcements), shell (made of Cordura and 2 mm felt), and inner boot (made of polyester and microfiber). The boot’s gaiter is lined with a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort laminate. The shell features a 4 mm polyethylene, aluminum layer, and velveteen; and the inner boot has a polyester and 200 g Primaloft lining. This layout works by providing protection, waterproofing, insulation, and breathability while maintaining a lightweight build.

Aside from the zipper with hook-and-loop closure, this mountaineering boot also features two internal lacing systems found on its shell and inner boot. The brand added three pull tab on its shell to make donning and doffing easier

  • This boot is compatible with automatic crampons.
