These types of boots will be used for firmer grounds and surfaces and be good for the guys in the back three, but not so much in the crunch. It’s quite light. There’s not a lot of protection and padding so you need to be able to get away pretty quick.

Features of the Asics Menace

-It features a synthetic material known as Teijin which can also be found in some of Nike's football boots. This material is engineered to mimic the looks and benefits of natural leather.

-The Asics Menace features the Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) outsole. This sturdy rubber material enhances the football boot’s durability while keeping the necessary performance benefits.

-This football boot also boasts an amazing midfoot technology called the Guidance Trusstic System. It reinforces the midfoot area so that the shoe does not twist when making sharp movements.

Fit and sizing

The Asics Menace comes in men’s version only. The sizes range from 7 to 16. Some reviewers mentioned that this football boot is pretty tight so it is best to get a pair that is one size bigger than your usual size.

Outsole

This football boot uses the Asics High Abrasion Rubber, also known as the AHAR outsole. It is made of a tough rubber compound that is similar to the material used in making car tires. This abrasive-resistant material makes the Asics Menace durable for a long time.

The Asics Menace also features the Guidance Trusstic System technology in the soleplate. The Trusstic System is designed according to the motions and functions of a specific shoe. Combined with the Guidance Line construction, this amazing technology will help in providing midfoot structural integrity and enhancing gait efficiency.

The hard ground studs of the Asics Menace are 3 millimeters shorter than the ones found in the Asics Testimonial 4 IT. Not only do these studs keep the weight of the shoe down, but they also allow for faster release, especially for agile players.

Midsole

The Asics Menace features the HG10mm technology, a midsole sponge found at the heel area, that makes the heel 10 millimeters higher than the toe part. It influences the bending form as well as lessens the load of the legs when running forward. This technology is also helpful in alleviating the impact on the knee.

Upper

The upper of the Asics Menace uses a Teijin synthetic material. Because it is laser cut, it contributes to the lightweight nature of this high-performing football boot. The Asics logo can be found on the medial side as well as on the upper portion of the tongue.

Its traditional lacing system can be found at the center of this football boot. It aids in keeping the foot locked in place when running, dribbling, and kicking.

Another excellent feature that helps in this football boot’s lockdown is the external heel counter. The heel area also has a good amount of padding for added in-shoe comfort.
