This neutral running shoe, the Asics GT 2000 8 Trail, features an entirely new upper, midsole, and outsole design. Used in making this trail running shoe is the beautiful two-layer mesh. Asics added this material to encourage stability and proper ventilation without sacrificing its lightweight structure.

It utilizes a softer midsole material. The primary focus of this is to promote a bouncier ride. Along with the softer midsole is the forefoot and heel gel cushioning system. This feature of the shoe is significant in absorbing impact forces during the running session.

To provide better traction on a wide variety of trails and paved surfaces, the new outsole design is integrated into the shoe. This results in a more prepared adventure to challenging terrains.

A secure fit is one of the vital aspects that contribute to the success of a runner's performance. This running footwear undeniably provides the comfort level that the user needs during the running session. With the utilization of the Twin Layer upper mesh, a seamless running experience is sure to be enjoyed by the runner.

The ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is integrated into the outsole of the Asics GT 2000 8 Trail. In the heel area, the AHAR is made up of carbon rubber. This component of the shoe aims to provide exceptional durability during the running session.

Along with the carbon rubber in the heel is the blown rubber in the forefoot area. The primary purpose of this is to deliver added flexibility and a more responsive cushioning.

Like the Asics Gel Cumulus 21, the Flytefoam is utilized in the shoe. Embedded in this foam material are organic fibers that are focused on delivering lightweight resiliency.

Featured in the running footwear is the Rearfoot Gel cushioning system. This silicone-based gel is meant to provide more responsive shock absorption during ground impact.

Along with the Rearfoot Gel is the Forefoot Gel cushioning system. The primary goal of this silicone-based gel is to absorb shock during impact. This is essential in letting the user experience a more responsive and efficient ride.

Additional comfort is encouraged by the Gender-specific forefoot cushioning.  With the use of an injected top layer of Solyte, a well-cushioned underfoot feel in the forefoot area is enjoyed by the user.

To reduce overpronation, the Dynamic DuoMax is used in crafting the Asics GT 2000 8 Trail. The sole responsibility of this material is to control the movement of the foot. As a result, a smoother heel-to-toe transition is ensured.

The Guidance Trusstic System utilized in the shoe. This system is described to provide lightweight support that is meant to deliver additional torsional rigidity.

This anti-bacterial material, the Molded EVA Sockliner, is integrated into the running footwear. The primary purpose of this is to reduce moisture and odor during the running activity. It provides additional cushioning as well.

Featured in the Asics GT 2000 8 Trail is the Twin Layer upper mesh. This component of the shoe aims to provide lightweight breathability. This mesh loosens and tightens critical areas, allowing the foot to move naturally without compromising its structure.

Along with the twin-layer upper mesh is the seamless construction. This is vital in providing an irritant-free wrap around the foot.

Used in crafting the shoe is the Heel Clutching System. The sole responsibility of this system is to wrap the heel area. As a result, a more secure and enhanced fit is experienced by the runner.

Employed in this running footwear is the Discrete eyelets. Asics added this feature to disperse lace tension, which is also significant in enhancing comfort during the running session.
