  • The Asics GT 2000 7 Twist is a lightweight road running and performance shoe that aims to aid runners in going the distance. To maximize superior ground traction, the shoe employs one of Asics’ well-known outsole technology: the Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR®). It also serves as a protective component of the shoe which boosts the durability of the shoe.
  • FlyteFoam® midsole technology contributes to the lightweight construction of the shoe by using organic fibers while upgrading the responsiveness of the shoe.
  • Staying true to its promise of decreasing overpronation, Dynamic DuoMax® is utilized by the Asics GT 2000 7 Twist to maintain its stability in order to provide smoother transitions.

For the GT 2000 7 Twist’s fit, a jacquard mesh is employed as its upper material which provides a snug and breathable fit. The lacing system of the shoe allows an adjustable fit and utilizes discrete eyelets to distribute the tension when running. Lastly, the internal heel counter situated within this lightweight running shoe provides intact security, preventing heel slippage.

Just like the Patriot 10, the outsole of the GT 2000 7 Twist uses one of Asics’ renowned innovations: AHAR®. This technology boosts the durability of the shoe from different harsh elements. It extends the responsiveness and flexibility of the shoe.

FlyteFoam® midsole technology makes use of organic fibers, providing lightweight construction and feel of the shoe while delivering exceptional rebound and responsiveness of the Asics GT 2000 7 Twist.

The RearFoot and ForeFoot Gel cushioning system attenuates shock during impact through the use of a silicone-based gel. This technology promotes free movement of the foot in multiple planes throughout the gait cycle.

A full-length SpEVA midsole material delivers improved energy return.

Impact Guidance System (IGS®) works with the Guidance Trusstic® System and Guidance Line®. Together they assist the foot throughout the gait cycle. These technologies all contribute to the lightweight construction of the shoe. With these, the heel strike to toe-off process is made much smoother.

To reduce overpronation, Dynamic DuoMax® supplies stability by controlling foot movement which leads to a smoother transition.

OrthoLite® X40 sockliner powers the rebound properties of the shoe while delivering added cushioning.

Jacquard mesh comprises the upper of the GT 2000 7 Twist, providing lightweight breathability. It tightens and loosens in key areas, allowing the foot to move more naturally.

Seamless construction is new to provide an irritant-free wrap

Internal heel counter increases the support of the shoe, preventing heel slippage throughout various movements.

Embedded along with the lacing system of the Asics GT 2000 7 Twist are discrete eyelets that evenly distribute the tension to enhance comfort.
