  • The Asics Gel-Quickwalk 3 is a walking shoe that retains the Rearfoot GEL cushioning, foot-conforming upper, and affordable price of its predecessor. It still has the same low-cut profile with a breathable mesh upper and synthetic overlays. However, this reincarnation’s overlays are chunkier for additional support. This overall upper build provides secure foot lockdown and lightweight support.
  • It employs the GEL Cushioning System in the rearfoot area for shock absorption. It also aids the foot in making a smoother transition to midstance.
  • The outsole features pods that are made of the Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR). They are strategically placed in the high-wear areas to protect them from scuffs and damage.

The Asics Gel-Quickwalk 3 has versions for both men and women. It generally runs true to size with only one width option, D - Medium. It means that it follows standard shoe measurements both in terms of length and width. Due to the snug upper, people with wide feet might find this shoe constricting.

The AHAR technology is strategically placed in the high-wear areas of the outsole. It mainly functions as protection against abrasions and damage for long-lasting durability. AHAR also enhances traction on concrete pavements and other outdoor surfaces.

The Asics Gel-Quickwalk 3 employs the compression molded EVA (CMEVA) foam for its midsole. It provides lightweight support to the user for a pleasant underfoot sensation.

The GEL Cushioning System is installed in the rearfoot area to absorb the impact from each heel landing. It also prevents pain and potential injuries.

The Asics Gel-Quickwalk 3 uses mesh for its upper. It gives off a breathable and secure fit without weighing the foot down.

The synthetic overlays are sewn on the sides and heel to deliver solid support. Thay also lock down the heel to prevent it from unwanted slipping during midstance.

This model utilizes a traditional lace-up closure that integrates with the synthetic overlays in the medial and the lateral quarters. Tightening the laces enhances the lateral support on the midfoot section.
