Updates to Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift

  • The Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift is a running shoe that’s created for the neutral runners. It has a striking color scheme, utilizing a mix of bright hues and deep shades that complement the sporty design of the overall package.
  • Breathability is still a major factor in this shoe. The main mesh material in the upper has obvious pores that accommodate environmental air into the foot-chamber.
  • In the mid-sole, a full-length Gel® unit is placed, making sure to provide underfoot protection against surface impact. It accompanies a foam material that further delivers cushioning and comfort to the wearer’s foot.
  • Durable rubber shields the mid-sole from the damaging nature of the asphalt. It also provides traction, which is important when it comes to gaining control over movements on the ground. Flex grooves are fashioned to accommodate the foot’s natural capacity to bend when in motion.

Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift size and fit

The Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift follows the regular measurements when it comes to length. So, it is able to accommodate the standard sizing preferences of runners. The width for both the men’s and women’s versions is medium. It also follows the natural curve of the human foot with its semi-curved construction.

Outsole

The outsole unit of the Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift makes use of the AHAR® or Asics High Abrasion Rubber, which is a resilient material that protects the rest of the sole unit from the potentially damaging nature of the asphalt. It also provides traction.

Flex grooves allow the runner to move as naturally as possible, especially when going through the gait cycle.

Midsole

Solyte is a lightweight foam unit that’s meant to provide a comfortable underfoot experience for the runner. It carries the foot and keeps it cushioned throughout the run.

A silicon-based unit called Gel® is added to the platform of this shoe. Unlike the other option in the Asics stable, the Gel® in this one encompasses the entire circumference of the mid-sole, thus giving 360-degrees of comfort and impact protection.

The Trusstic System involves a thermal plastic unit in the mid-foot area that increases torsional rigidity. It basically acts as the foundation that lightly supports the foot as it moves.

The ComforDry X-40 Sockliner adds a bit more cushioning to the foot. It also has anti-microbial and anti-moisture properties that keep the foot cool, dry and free from odor.

Upper

The FluidFit is composed of a multi-directional stretch mesh that encompasses the foot in a secure wrap.

The Engineered Mesh has a fabric-like disposition. It allows the foot to feel as if it’s in a sock. It’s lightweight and breathable.

The upper unit has a color-shifting capability, which aims to be visually appealing to runners.

A Seamless Construction has been employed in the Asics Gel Quantum 360 Shift. The soft and smooth fabrics allow the runner to wear the shoe without socks and not expect any irritation to the skin.

The exoskeletal Heel Clutching System secures the back of the foot and preventing it from exiting the shoe accidentally. It’s made up of foam and thin plastic add-ons.
