  • The Asics Gel Patriot 7 is an improved version with several enhancements on designs and construction. Among the features that are updated in this version is its upper with a more breathable material.
  • The cushioning is also enhanced with its full-length EVA Solyte foam midsole. The cushioning system is also combined with a single layer of foam that gives the protection throughout the arch. There is a cushioning unit in the heel area for added cushion and for heel protection.
  • This Asics running shoe is also designed with the Trusstic System, which provides the foot with torsion control for a more natural movement.
  • The fit and comfort are improved as well with updates on the upper construction. The new synthetic leather for the upper is combined with the mesh materials for comfort and breathability while keeping the foot in a snug fit feel all throughout the ride.

The Patriot 7 is designed in standard size. It is snug fit with a roomy toe box and hugged heel area. It is ideal for narrow to medium footed runners. This shoe is available in medium widths for both men’s and women’s version.

The outsole of the Asics Gel Patriot 7 same as with the popular Asics Patriot 10 is made from the AHAR+ technology with rubber material in thick sole for better shock absorption, flexibility, durability, and added cushioning. This shoe is not only meant for comfort but also for support.

The midsole of the Asics Gel Patriot 7 have the Gel cushioning system and the Solyte midsole in full length foam. This system provides the softness as well as the protection against shock while maintaining the durability and flexibility of the shoe. Responsiveness is also given attention to help novice and new runners learn and enjoy the art of running, even in low to middle mileage. The plastic Trusstic System spreads out to the medial foot and to the sides of the foot, thus providing the torsion control needed to run faster in a supported way.

The upper of this shoe comes with the usual breathable open mesh material common to Asics line of shoes, but this one is enhanced with the synthetic leather for comfort, support, durability, and snug fit. It prevents the foot from injury, irritation, and abrasion. The inner part has the California Slip Lasting for added comfort and softness, and this is stitched to the upper EVA board for stability and durability. The padded collar also adds comfort.
