  • The Asics Gel Kayano 24 Lite-Show is a road running shoe that is intended for runners who need more support and stability. It uses the engineered mesh upper for a more secure fit. This technology also aims to provide better flow of air.
  • Integrated on the outsole is the ASICS High Abrasion Rubber or AHAR, the goal of which is to provide added durability.
  • The midsole uses the Flytefoam technology which delivers a more responsive ride throughout the road running sessions.
  • Another update in the Asics Gel Kayano 24 Lite-Show is the use of the SpevaFoam 45 Lasting. It is specifically designed to provide a softer feel and improved comfort.

When it comes to the size, the Asics Gel Kayano 24 Lite-Show follows the standard shoe measurements. It is best for wearers who want to take long-distance road running activities to the next level. The available widths are medium for both the men's and the women's version.

The notable AHAR or ASICS High Abrasion Rubber is integrated into the Kayano 24 Lite-Show. This component of the shoe aims to deliver additional durability on a wide variety of paved surfaces. This thick material is also placed on the product to provide protection that will last for a long time.

In the forefoot area lies the DuraSponge outsole. This technology is made up of a blown rubber compound that offers a more responsive cushioning. It also offers added durability.

To provide a smoother heel-to-toe transition, the Rear Foot Crash Pad is utilized. This material is essential for wearers to have a more pleasant running experience.

The Forefoot and Rearfoot Gel cushioning system are integrated into the shoe. The gel cushioning system absorbs shock during foot-strike. It primarily turns every landing into a smoother transition, from heel strike to toe-off, making each step more comfortable.

To supply runners with a more springy and responsive ride, the FlyteFoam midsole is used. When compared to standard EVA foams that are regularly used in running shoes, this material is 55% lighter. Embedded into the foam are organic fibers which aim to make every step agreeable and plush.

A component of the IGS called discrete heel unit is used in the Asics Gel Kayano 24 Lite-Show. This element of the shoe aims to provide incredible shock absorption in the heel area.

Increasing the effectiveness of the product's cushioning is offered by the Convergence Gel. This material helps in dissipating shock in a better way.

Increased durability and responsive cushioning are encouraged by the FluidRide technology. The structure of the unit results in an unconstrained feeling without compromising its light weight.

The Guidance Line, a vertically-placed flex groove in the midsole area, aims to guide the runner's foot to improve and follow the gait cycle naturally.

For added stability and durability, the Dynamic DuoMax Support System is utilized. It is designed to control the movement of the runner's foot to reduce over pronation. As a result, it leads to a smoother and more balanced heel-to-toe transition.

Enhancing gait efficiency while maintaining midfoot structural integrity is delivered by the Guidance Trusstic System. This support system is described as lightweight in structure.

To heighten the foot's capability to go through the gait cycle with ease and comfort, the Asics made the IGS or Impact Guidance System. Its purpose is to create a smooth and balanced landing.

Using an injected top layer of Solyte foam, the Gender Specific Forefoot cushioning provides additional comfort. This material allows the runner to experience a plushy and soft feel during toe-offs.

Preventing the growth of odor-causing microbes and reducing moisture are the work of the ComforDry X-40 Sockliner. This component of the shoe is composed of anti-bacterial elements that keep the foot healthy and dry during the running activities. It aims to give additional cushioning as well.

To make the midsole area more accommodating and softer, the SpevaFoam 45 Lasting is featured in the shoe. It also enhances the shoe's cushioning and comfort.

Increased breathability is delivered by the engineered mesh upper. This technology is primarily designed to provide a plush and distraction-free fit. It is essential in wrapping the runner's foot securely while preventing the risk of irritation. Its open construction accommodates better inflow and outflow of air.

Featured in the shoe is the FluidFit technology which makes use of a mesh that can stretch in multiple directions. It allows the runner's foot to move more freely and naturally without the feeling of restriction in the upper area.

An external plastic unit called the Heel Clutching System is integrated into this Asics running shoe. It wraps and locks the heel in place, preventing it from jiggling while inside the shoe. With this add-on, runners will feel confident that possible shoe removals won't happen.

In the heel collar section, a two-layer memory foam lining is added. This updated technology is called the Personal Heel Fit or PHF. Its purpose is to cushion the ankle and provide a more personalized, plush fit.

Added safety is provided by the Reflectivity. This component of the shoe is significant in allowing runners to be seen especially in low-light conditions.

To enhance comfort, Asics decided to add the discrete eyelets. Another purpose of this material is to disperse lace tension.

In making the forefoot section more resistant to tearing, the Reinforced Vamp is utilized. This additional seamless and thin mesh overlay increases durability. It also reduces the effects of constant foot bending during toe-off.

The Strobel Last is stitched with the full-length ComforDry to provide a softer underfoot feel. It also aims to enhance and improve the shoe's cushioning.
