  • The Asics Gel Intensity 3 is an all-around workout shoe that’s designed to meet the various demands of fitness enthusiasts. It has a low-profile design, a leather-and-mesh upper, and synthetic overlays for added protection and comfort. It also has a Personal Heel Fit (PHF) collar lining for a customized fit.
  • The midsole is made of SpEVA foam to give it bounciness and responsiveness, all while minimizing breakdown. On the other hand, the rearfoot and forefoot GEL cushioning system functions as a shock absorber. It also makes heel-to-toe transitions smoother.
  • The shoe employs the Trusstic Technology in the middle of the outsole to solidify its form and prevent shoe-twisting. It also has the Asics High Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) placed in the critical parts to protect the outsole from damage.
  • The sturdy and supportive build of this shoe earned the Asics brand the seal of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

The Asics Gel Intensity 3 is made for men. It runs a half size smaller than the standard cross-training size, and consumers are advised to order a half size bigger than usual. The width measurement is D - Medium.

The Gel Intensity 3 features the AHAR technology. It is a lightweight and abrasion-resistant material that’s strategically placed in the critical areas of the outsole to protect it from wear and tear associated with training. It also delivers traction to the unit.

The arch area is reinforced by the Trusstic System. This structure maintains the form of the outsole in this section, boosting the sturdiness of the shoe and prevents twisting.

The SpEVA midsole of the Asics Gel Intensity 3 is meant to deliver springiness to each step. It transfers energy generated by the ground impact to the wearer to propel them forward or upward. SpEVA is a durable material that’s developed from a combination of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and a rubber ball material.

The brand’s GEL technology is located in the shoe’s rearfoot and forefoot areas. This cushioning system protects the foot from impact while also enabling smoother foot transitions.

The Asics Gel Intensity 3 provides additional protection, comfort, and support through its leather and mesh upper. The leather material gives the footwear its form and supports the top of the foot. The mesh fabric keeps the inside well ventilated.

A traditional lacing system locks the foot securely in place while working out. The round laces can be tightened or loosened to customize the fit, while the tongue protects the instep from any irritation caused by the laces.

The PHF lines the collar of this Asics workout trainer. This feature employs two layers of memory foam that conforms to the back of the foot to deliver a personalized fit that is supportive, but not restrictive.
