Updates to Asics Gel FujiPro

  • The Gel FujiPro is a new Asics trail running shoe. It has a new blown AHAR+ outsole rubber material that is used to enhance the cushioning of the shoe as well as the durability of the outsole while ensuring excellent traction and protection against abrasion.
  • Featuring the Solyte midsole technology for a lighter and more durable soft cushioning, this shoe has an improved midsole construction of combined SpEVA and Gel cushioning system. As a result, shock is reduced while allowing the shoe to have a smooth transition. It makes trail running more enjoyable without experiencing pressures on joint and muscles even on rough and tough terrains.
  • The sole is also designed with the Propulsion Trusstic technology, which is a system for a spring-loaded ride on trails. This design is paired with the Heel Clutching System that provides support and enhanced heel fit.

Asics Gel FujiPro size and fit

When it comes to sizing, Asics Gel FujiPro is true to its size. It offers a snug fit feel from the forefoot to the rear foot, including the heel area. This shoe fits perfectly to medium-footed runners.


Outsole

Just like the popular Asics Gel Contend 4, the FujiPro has an outsole made from the AHAR+ material with Trail Specific outsole lugs. This design and construction are both intended for durability, traction, and enhanced cushioning.


Midsole

The midsole comes with the Gel Cushioning system plus the Solyte midsole technology, which is a lighter type of midsole that features enhanced softness and durability. This design is also meant for shock attenuation, thus reducing pressure on the foot while keeping the foot in a soft and comfortable ride.

There is a removable EVA sock liner as well, that provides accommodation for medical orthotic. For stability and support, the midsole are designed with California Slip Lasting stitched to the upper and a Heel Clutching System for better heel fit.

The Propulsion Trusstic System is also added in the midsole construction to link the lateral heel to the medial forefoot. This plastic-based unit provides the connection to assist the foot in the propulsion stage.


Upper

The upper of the FujiPro is constructed with the Seamless construction for better breathability and support, and for a lighter structure. The Anti-Gravel tongue is also used to prevent trail debris from affecting or intruding the inner foot. The lace garage is also used for better closure ideal for outdoor purposes.
