Asics Gel Fit Sana 4 size and fit
This women's trainer from Asics is available in US sizes 5.5 to 12 and comes only in a B - Medium width profile. This model utilizes a bootie-like construction which aims to deliver a lockdown fit.
The midsole of the Asics Gel Fit Sana 4 doubles as its outsole. It is engineered to be durable and grippy on gym and studio floors. The tread pattern on the underside resembles suction cups which enhance the traction, so it doesn’t easily slip during dynamic movements.
A full-length foam cushioning makes up the midsole of the Asics Gel Fit Sana 4. It is intended to attenuate shock and provide a responsive platform during workouts. The unit is also made to be flexible to promote natural foot flexion and adaptability. On top of it is a breathable textile footbed that ensures the foot chamber is aerated.
The GEL technology is present at the rearfoot. This component amplifies the shock absorption of the midsole during heel strike for a smooth heel-to-toe transition.
The Asics Gel Fit Sana 4 employs a mesh upper. This fabric is lightweight and breathable, ensuring that the inside is well-ventilated. The eyestay, which is a high-friction area, is lined with a synthetic overlay to protect it against abrasion.
The footwear utilizes the brand’s MONO-SOCK Fit System. This construction wraps the foot to deliver a snug, sock-like fit. The inside is also lined with a comfortable fabric that aim to prevent any foot discomfort.
The midfoot sports a lace-up system that allows users to adjust the fit to their liking. The sewn-in tongue is lightly padded, protecting the instep against the pressure created by the laces.
The footgear also sports a slightly plush collar that keeps the ankle area comfortable and the back of the foot locked down. A pull loop is attached at the back of the collar and assists users in putting on the shoe quickly. An overlay forms an external heel counter at the back which is designed to keep the foot steady during workouts.
