The Asics EvoRide is a neutral running shoe that is designed for the roads. This product features a classic Asics look, with breathable mesh and minimal printed overlays governing the overall design.

Underfoot cushioning is the duty of the full-length FlyteFoam® Propel piece. Still, it has a curved forefoot implementation to encourage a smooth transition towards the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. Asics High Abrasion Rubber covers the forefoot and the high-wear points of the heel.

The sizing scheme of the Asics EvoRide aims to follow the standard measurements that are used in the industry. Runners are welcome to use the choices of size with which they are most acquainted to enjoy an in-shoe feel that is accommodating. Still, it is highly recommended to test this running shoe first before making a purchase decision to permit small adjustments to the expectations of the in-shoe experience.

Affecting the sideways fit are the upper unit’s stretchy and seamless construction, as well as the semi-curved shape of the platform. The raised-sidewall configuration of the midsole unit aims to steady the foot and keep it at the center of the shoe at all times.

The external pad of the Asics EvoRide uses AHAR® or Asics High Abrasion Rubber. This compound is tasked with providing surface grip for the runner throughout the activity. It is also meant to protect the contact points of the platform’s forefoot and rear from the abrasive nature of the ground.

FlyteFoam® Propel is used in many of Asics’ series of shoes, including the updates to the revered Gel Kayano line.

GUIDESOLE™ is a curved forefoot design that aims to smoothen the transition of the foot towards the toe-off phase. The smoothness of the motion can further energize the foot as it performs the step.

The heel part of the platform has GEL® technology inside of it. This silicon-based element is meant to help the platform when it comes to attenuating impact shock and ensuring agreeable foot-strikes.

A sockliner is included on top of the primary cushioning unit. This add-on has the goal of providing a soft surface for the underside of the foot. It can be replaced with a new one or removed entirely if the wearer wants to do so.

The upper unit of the Asics EvoRide uses engineered mesh. This material has the softness and stretchy quality of woven cloth. It even has a cottony feel that evokes a feeling of being inside a sock. Its form-welcoming structure enables itself to follow the natural shape and motion of the foot as it goes through the gait cycle. Furthermore, there are breaking holes and sipes on various sections to permit all-around breathability throughout the activity.

Synthetic prints are placed on the sides of the upper, the eyestays, and the rim of the collar. These elements are designed to reinforce the structural integrity of the silhouette. They also serve as a means of adding more oomph to the security offered by the rest of the fabrics and the lacing system.

Some of the prints have stitched patterns to reinforce their form. The ones on the eyestays are particularly highlighted as they are the areas that are likely to experience more wear-and-tear.

A traditional lacing system helps the runner in adjusting the snugness or looseness of the fit. The quick and familiar means of manipulating the tightness or looseness of the upper unit’s wrap makes it effortless to don this Asics running shoe.

The padding on the collar and tongue are designed to cushion the topmost portions of the foot, including the ankles, Achilles tendon, and bridge. These features also help the shoe when it comes to preventing accidental shoe removals.
