  • The Asics Amplica is an affordable running shoe that’s designed to function as a daily runner and a training companion. Uptempo runs are its purpose. It has a lightweight build and an uncluttered design that may work well for those who desire speed and flexibility.
  • Lightweight support is the responsibility of the engineered mesh upper. This fabric has a seamless configuration that encourages sock-less wear. Bolstering it is a set of printed overlays.
  • AmpliFoam is a full-length unit that harbors softness in a firm assembly. Such a blend of traits heightens comfort and speed in the heel-to-toe transitions. AHAR® covers the midsole, protecting it from the abrasive nature of the asphalt.

The Asics Amplica employs a standard running shoe length, though it would be helpful to know that there are consumers who felt that the sizing scheme was smaller than the usual. When it comes to the width, the options are D – Medium and B – Medium for men and women, respectively. Note: A narrowness was perceived by many purchasers.

AHAR® (Asics High Abrasion Rubber) covers the contact points of the heel and forefoot sections. This material is highly resistant to abrasion and it has been used in several Asics running shoes like the Asics GT 1000 7 and GT 2000 7. Its job is to keep the midsole safe from the debilitating effects of surface contact.

The forefoot of the Asics Amplica’s external pad features a set of flex grooves. These shallow depressions are meant to encourage the platform to bend in conjunction with the foot as it gears itself towards the toe-off.

The AmpliFoam is a technology that’s configured to give comfortable cushioning and enabled toe-offs. This compound has a soft texture, but it’s built to be resilient enough to propel the foot forward with energy. It can be flexed mildly to help in the natural rolling motion of the gait.

A sock liner is placed above the AmpliFoam midsole. This removable piece is made of lightweight ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA). Its job is to add a bit more underfoot support.

The upper unit of the Asics Amplica makes use of engineered mesh, which is a lightweight textile that has a seamless construction. It encourages environmental air to maintain a cool and dry interior for the foot.

Overlays made of synthetic material are printed onto the façade. These add-ons help in providing secure coverage. The lateral side has the brand logo while the medial side has the word ‘Asics’ emblazoned on it.

Semi-flat laces adorn this running companion. These fabric cords go through print-reinforced eyelets and a lace-anchor on the tongue unit. They’re meant to adjust the tightness or looseness of the fit.

The padded tongue and collar are responsible for cushioning the topmost dimensions of the foot, including the instep, the ankles, and the Achilles tendon. These parts are also meant to prevent accidental shoe removals.

A seamless and breathable lining allows the Asics Amplica to be worn without socks. It fundamentally averts skin irritation and hot spots.
