Facts

The Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2 GTX is a supportive and lightweight running shoe created to provide long-lasting comfort on technical terrains. This trail running shoe is the waterproof version of the Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2. It features state-of-the-art materials that made it lighter and more comfortable compared to the Norvan LD 2.

The upper of this shoe is equipped with advanced Gore-Tex technology. This material made the shoe waterproof and breathable, making the platform suitable for any weather condition.

Vibram® LiteBase technology is incorporated into the midsole for excellent shock absorption. This midsole material helps minimize the impact and vibrations in every stride, providing a comfortable and responsive ride.

For a firm grip on uneven surfaces, the Vibram® MegaGrip™ rubber is incorporated into the shoe. Aside from providing optimal traction, this component also offers durability and protection.

The Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2 GTX uses the standard sizing measurement to accommodate the usual expectations of runners. The shoe utilizes the traditional lace-up closure for a personalized fit.

Other elements that affect the fit of the shoe include the OrthoLite™ 3D molded insert and padded tongue. These components help provide a snugger in-shoe feel.

Just like the Altra Olympus 3.0, the Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2 GTX features the Vibram® MegaGrip™ rubber. This outsole material is built from a high-performance rubber compound, which offers maximum durability and protection against abrasive elements. It also provides unparalleled grip on both wet and dry surfaces.

Boosting the outsole's performance is the ergonomically patterned 3.5 mm square-shaped lugs. The lugs are designed to give a strong grip and stability on wet or muddy surfaces.

The Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2 GTX utilizes Vibram® LiteBase technology for lightweight cushioning. This technology is used to drastically reduce the weight of the sole without compromising comfort and durability.

The Polyolefin midsole is also added for a high level of comfort. This midsole material is composed of a 20% polyolefin blend, and 80% compressed EVA for supreme shock absorption.

This running shoe also comes with an OrthoLite™ 3D molded insert. This component cradles the foot to deliver unmatched comfort. It also gives added underfoot protection.

Gore-Tex technology is integrated into the upper unit of the Arc'teryx Norvan LD 2 GTX. Gore-Tex is a waterproof and breathable fabric designed for all-weather use. It prevents water or rain from getting in but allows moisture vapor to escape, keeping a healthy environment for the foot.

A single layer mesh is utilized for lightweight comfort. It is a lightweight and breathable upper component that elevates comfort inside the shoe. The shoe also includes a strategically placed TPU film and toecap for added protection.

This waterproof running shoe is constructed with Gore-Tex Invisible Fit upper. This element makes the shoe more flexible and a bit lighter compared to other shoes using the traditional Gore-Tex® waterproof membrane.

A padded tongue and heel collar are used for additional comfort and protection. The traditional lacing system is also utilized for a snug and secure fit every time.
