As a tribute to the 60th anniversary of NASA, the Chinese brand launched the Anta NASA Seed collection in April 2018. The Blast-Off shoe model features an upper that is made of a combination of synthetic leather and breathable A-Web knit. The A-FIIIX cross straps provide excellent midfoot and ankle support. The midsole features the A-PROOO technology for impact absorption. These Anta basketball shoes have strap and non-strap versions. They are sold for at least $149.
The price is quite a lot for some users. They say the fourth Klay Thompson shoe with Anta is well-reviewed and is only $125. Both shoes give new buyers the option for ether casual or performance use.
Cushion. The responsiveness of the Anta NASA Seed Blast-Off comes from the A-PROOO technology in its full-length EVA midsole. It explosively returns the energy absorbed upon impact. It works similar to Nike’s Zoom Air Max technology.
Traction. The outsole of the Anta NASA Seed Blast-Off is made of solid rubber. It works great on any surface. The water ripple traction pattern is for maximum grip and control.
Length and Width. The Anta NASA Seed Blast-Off follows industry standards when it comes to its length and width. However, there are not a lot of reviews about this model; we cannot verify. New buyers, therefore, are advised to be on the safe side and just go true to size.
Lockdown. The Anta NASA Seed Blast-Off boasts TPU on the sides for stability. Its lacing system is reinforced by a strapping technology called A-FIIIX. This unique setup prevents any side-to-side movements inside the shoe.
There is another version of the Blast-Off that does not have the straps. It is sold at a lower price
The upper of the Anta NASA Seed Blast-Off is made of synthetic leather and knit. The knit is breathable, soft, lightweight, and durable. The upper is reinforced with Anta’s A-WEB technology.
