Fit & Sizing

The Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Hike Lo is a unisex pair that's available in men's sizing. The guys can choose from sizes 6 to 13, while the ladies should go one size down from their normal shoe size. Generally, the sneaker runs true to size, but some consumers with wide feet said the toe box felt narrower than expected.

Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Hike Lo Style

A running shoe with a hint of trail-inspired aesthetic and finished off with today's chunky trend – this describes the Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Hike Lo shoe. Thanks to the balance between its simple upper and bold sole, this kick is minimal yet attention-grabbing. Its low-top profile could easily match with any outfit, however, try to stay away from super tight bottoms as it could make the sneaker look bigger than it is.

Pair it with cropped chinos, a button-down top and a beanie for an effortlessly cool look or opt for joggers and a sweatshirt for an athleisure-inspired outfit.

Notable Features

This sneaker's core feature lies in its sole. With its chunky midsole that's finished off with Trefoil logo-clad spikes, this is easily the first thing that people will notice. And if you choose the vibrant colorways, the shoe would inevitably be more eye-catching. Moreover, small design details such as the silicone dotted Three Stripe branding and rubber heel-tab also contribute to the shoe's overall unique charm.

Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Hike Lo History

Building on their partnership, fashion designer Alexander Wang and sportswear giant Adidas once again serve the public with a new collection. After dropping skate and basketball-inspired kicks and other merchandise, a new footwear model dubbed as the Hike Lo was introduced. The brand's archived running sneaker called the Marathon TR inspires this new sneaker. This kick borrowed the Marathon TR's outsole design that featured Adidas' Trefoil logo as its outer tread pattern and added a beefy amount of Boost technology in its midsole to achieve the chunky effect.

The Alexander Wang x Adidas Originals Hike Lo is the collaboration's season 2 collection and was released for Autumn/Winter 2017. The collection drew inspiration from cycling and raving, which is most evident in the apparel's design.

The sneaker was part of a text-to-buy release wherein consumers had to visit specific places where they have to obtain certain digits that they can use in ordering their merchandise through text messaging. Then cyclists clad in the collection's gear would arrive to deliver your goodies. Now that's creative and unheard of.
