The Adidas ZX 700 IM is available for both genders. This running-inspired sneaker has the traditional lace closure with tonal flat laces for a proper fit. The low-top Adidas ZX 700 IM displays throwback features that made some old-souls rejoice. It remained true to its ancestor by presenting sporty and retro design with a single-layered mesh upper. Adidas Originals was able to release a rich compilation of shoes under the ZX line. They used breakthrough technologies in footwear like the Torsion and the Soft Cell technologies to keep up with the modern-aged runners. The ZX silhouette became well-renowned and turned as the defining prototypical running shoe profile.

One of the 16 shoes that are under the ZX series is the ZX 8000. This kick has a contemporary design and first used the Torsion technology. This technology delivers ample support to the runner and allows forefoot and heel flexibility.

The ZX 500 which was launched in 1984, was perceived as the first stylish running shoe during that time. It was released in various colorways made with a variety of materials. This footwear was even used as a casual kick during that period.

The following year, the ZX 700 was introduced which was inspired by the ZX 500. It was engineered to withstand long-distance running and also worked as trekking footwear.  This sneaker is made with a durable rubber outsole, TPU heel cage, and an upper composed of various materials. This shoe was conceptualized to work in unison with the body's movements.

Now being offered in the market in more than 30 years, the ZX 700 model stays as a well-celebrated kick in the roster of Three Stripes models. This variation has undergone several modifications while maintaining its retro look and sporty profile.
