Size and fit

The Yeezy Desert Boot Rock is offered in full-family sizing, having sizes made available for every member of the family. With quite a snug fit, it is greatly recommended to go either a half or a full size up.

For these boots’ fastening system, the thick rope laces are used and can be adjusted to one’s preference for a more secure and personalized fit.

Adidas Yeezy Desert Boot Rock Style

Embracing elements from one of the line-up’s chunky and ever-popular dad shoes, the Yeezy Desert Boot Rock is a futuristic, three-quarter boot that has an upper which is reminiscent to the Yeezy 500. The boots sport a tan hue across its entire makeup and are composed of nubuck and sultry suede overlays with textural mesh underlays.

With aggressive sole units, which are the boots’ most noticeable modification, the height of these kicks is surely refined. Additionally, the dynamic ripples add visual charm to its neutral hits and accentuated foxing.

“Rock” is a unique colorway that is painted in an earthy, sandy, military-type tone that covers the entire silhouette and can be set out as a mix between the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Clay’ and the Yeezy 500 ‘Blush’.  Moreover, 3M reflective detailing also features across the upper, achieving the outdoorsy aesthetic that’s sure to turn heads.

Finally, an embossed Adidas logo is located on the bottom of the sole for branding. As stylish as they are, these boots can go with almost anything. The perfect ensemble that goes best with the boots is street-style. These boots go well with loose pants like cargo or jogger pants, and a pair of shorts will also do. As for the tops, one can go for oversized shirts, flannel pieces, sweaters or hoodies.

Notable Features

Composed of premium and durable suede, nubuck, and mesh materials, these Yeezy boots come with some alterations in its height and design. In addition, the mesh panels also provide for more breathability. The mid-cut Yeezy Desert Boot has a breathable textile lining for a healthy in-shoe climate and added support.

For an anatomical fit, the padded collar is featured. These boots’ Ortholite insoles also deliver ample cushioning. Sitting atop an extremely large foam midsole, this is lined with exaggerated treading for traction and comfort. Lastly, the signature gum-like bottom rubber outsole is outdoors-ready and offers durability and enhanced grip.

Adidas Yeezy Desert Boot Rock History

Written as an abbreviation of the name of the founder Adolf “Adi” Dassler, the Adidas brand started when the Dassler family began manufacturing shoes after World War 1. The brand began to be known at the 1936 Berlin Olympics when the American track-and-field icon Jesse Owens wore the shoes from Adi Dassler on his medal-winning performances.

Since then, the momentous event increased recognition of Adi Dassler’s brand around the globe.  It has become the leading sports brand in Europe and the second largest (next to Nike) in the world. Throughout the years, Adidas continuously improves and produces quality footwear and sportswear that are admired and praised for their high demands worldwide.

Adidas has produced various lines and collaborations with famous athletes and artists that have become iconic and are highly-anticipated by sneakerheads. Among the brand’s most famous collaboration is with one of the music industry’s most famous and high-paying artist, Kanye West.

The Yeezy line is his creation with Adidas alongside it. These Yeezy sneakers have evolved and have expanded, producing several kicks that are instant hits. One of these is the recently released Yeezy Desert Boot Rock, a boot model that’s executed with a nubuck upper with sections of mesh and suede overlays and dons an overarching earth tone colorway. The latest Yeezy Desert Boot epitomizes the design aspects of the partnership of Adidas and Kanye West with its futuristic, fashion-forward design and performance.
