The low-top Adidas Torsion X is a unisex shoe that is made in men’s measurements only. Ladies who want to grab a pair need to convert their sizes. Generally, the ladies have to go down one and a half size for a better fit.

For support and stability, the shoe is layered with suede material. The traditional lace-up closure of this Adidas sneaker allows the wearers to adjust the tightness of the shoe.

Combining the elements from the past and the present technology, the Adidas Torsion X is the kind of shoe to steal the spotlight. This sneaker is street style ready, and it goes well with jeans, joggers, and track pants.

Adidas created the Torsion X aggressively by putting different features from several Adidas Originals products together. The tongue of this Torsion iteration was borrowed from the FYW S-97, and it has a bold branding on it. It is held in place by a clear plastic tube looping around the lacing system and heel, which gives off the Adidas Ozweego vibes. The circular eye stays produce the same feel of Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezy 500.

The sneaker has a full-length Boost midsole that is divided into three sections, which are propped with a colorful outsole to provide targeted underfoot support. The three parts are connected by a Torsion bar that begins in the midfoot and reaches outward, wrapping around the Boost pods.

Adidas Originals has been celebrating its famous Torsion Bar technology for quite some time already by releasing classic retro models. However, in 2019, instead of re-releasing a shoe, a new model was introduced by mashing up a number of Adidas silhouettes and dubbed it as the Torsion X.

The brand new silhouette, which was added to the brand’s Torsion line, is finished with a bold upper and a bolder midsole. The all-black version of the Adidas Torsion X is designed with contrasting elements found on its midsole in the form of the following colors, which gives the shoe a popping tone: hi-res yellow, shock pink, active blue, easy mint, and scarlet. It is also available on a solar red contrasting accents found on a translucent top, white midsole, and black rubber sole.

  • The Adidas Torsion X was released on September 14, 2019.
  • The Torsion bar on the midsole is X-shaped.
  • The Torsion X will be released in the all-new “Solar Red” pack by Adidas Originals together with four other silhouettes: the Ozweego, Nite Jogger, LXCON, and ZX Torsion.
  • It is also available in the following colorways: ash silver, orchid tint, and core black-night metallic.
  • The material of the upper depends on the colorway. The ash silver has a mesh upper, while the black has a textile upper.
