Adidas Swift Run History
Ever since the birth of Adidas, the brand has been providing the world a variety of footwear types that would mend the needs of the people. The brand also has released some iconic silhouettes that until now still hold their stature. Some of the brand’s classics have been all-time favorites for a lot of people as well.
Like any other type of business, the brand also has released some shoes that didn’t really achieve a certain level of popularity and have discontinued the production of the silhouettes. They also have some models, which were offered in a limited edition or were just a one-time release. But all these shoes, whether a success or a flop, are a part of Adidas and the silhouettes and the prototypes are all safely kept in Adidas’ archives.
Taking inspiration from the 1980s running silhouettes of the Adidas brand and straight from their archives, the Three-Striple Brand gave birth to the Swift Run. This retro-inspired runner features on its debut a Primeknit upper which gives off a sock-like fit for the foot and an EVA midsole in white and finished off with a black outsole. A Torsion system was also added in the midfoot of the shoe.
This new silhouette was released in an all-white colorway on its debut, and soon the introduction of more colorways soon followed. One of these is the Black and Green colorway that is offered for the men and another was offered for women in a Grey and Pink color combination. A welded 3-Stripes Adidas branding was also included to the design of the shoe.
The Adidas Swift Run debuted in July this year, 2017.
Adidas Swift Run Style
Versatility is one thing that the Adidas Swift Run represents when it comes to style as it can go with a variety of appropriate outfit choices. This low-top shoe allows one to wear it on either for a fitness purpose or for a more casual use. The shoe is a good pick to pair up with a gym-training attire. It can also be a good complement for a street-style look when going out for a stroll around town or when running some errands. The shoe is great when paired with an appropriate top and a pair of jogger jeans, skinny jeans, fitted jeans, regular cut jeans, cuffed jeans, loose pants, joggers, basketball shorts, training shorts, tracksuit bottoms, and leggings for women.
Fit & Sizing
The Adidas Swift Run fairly offers a good average fit for the foot. Its lace-up closure system gives the wearer the opportunity to lock their feet down into a snug yet comfortable fit. The shoe is offered for both men’s and women’s sizing. In men’s sizing, sizes ranges from size 4 to size 13.5 while in women’s sizing, sizes ranges from size 5 to size 11. Half sizes are also available. The shoe is offered in medium size but it may be accommodating to those with wide feet as well.
The comfort provided by the Adidas Swift Run is what most of the wearers gush about the shoe. They were really satisfied with how the shoe felt so comfortable on their foot and how it keeps their foot from hurting. Some were also highly appreciative of the design of the shoe, saying that it looks really stylish. They also loved how they have the freedom of pairing the shoe with various casual outfit choices.
