Adidas Swift Run History
Ever since the birth of Adidas, the brand has been providing the world a variety of footwear types that would mend the needs of the people. The brand also has released some iconic silhouettes that until now still hold their stature. Some of the brand’s classics have been all-time favorites for a lot of people as well.
Like any other type of business, the brand also has released some shoes that didn’t really achieve a certain level of popularity and have discontinued the production of the silhouettes. They also have some models, which were offered in a limited edition or were just a one-time release. But all these shoes, whether a success or a flop, are a part of Adidas and the silhouettes and the prototypes are all safely kept in Adidas’ archives.
Taking inspiration from the 1980s running silhouettes of the Adidas brand and straight from their archives, the Three-Striple Brand gave birth to the Swift Run. This retro-inspired runner features on its debut a Primeknit upper which gives off a sock-like fit for the foot and an EVA midsole in white and finished off with a black outsole. A Torsion system was also added in the midfoot of the shoe.
This new silhouette was released in an all-white colorway on its debut, and soon the introduction of more colorways soon followed. One of these is the Black and Green colorway that is offered for the men and another was offered for women in a Grey and Pink color combination. A welded 3-Stripes Adidas branding was also included to the design of the shoe.
The Adidas Swift Run debuted in July this year, 2017.
