  • The Adidas Speedfactory AM4SH is a running shoe that’s designed for those who have neutral pronation. It has street-ready aesthetics that may cater to both athletes and casual shoe enthusiasts. The frame and look of this city runner were co-created with athletes from Shanghai, China. The fully automated Speedfactory shoemaking facility is responsible for building the actual shoe.
  • Underfoot cushioning is the responsibility of the Boost midsole. This full-length foam works with a floating torsion bar in the midfoot to keep the foot supported at all times. Traction and abrasion protection fall upon the rubber outsole.

The Adidas Speedfactory AM4SH was crafted to be true to size. Runners can get a pair using their regular sizing expectations. When it comes to width, the available option is D – Medium. The silhouette of this product was framed after the foot-dimensions of men.

The outsole unit of the Adidas Speedfactory AM4SH features a layer of rubber, the task of which is to protect against abrasion and to provide surface traction. It has traction nodes and shallow grooves that encourage flexibility and extra grip.

Just like the popular Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged, the Speedfactory AM4SH uses Boost technology which is a cushioning platform that’s made from the amalgamation of many thermoplastic polyurethane pellets. It aims to provide responsive underfoot support and shock attenuation. Moreover, it has a lightweight and flexible configuration.

A SPEEDFACTORY Floating Torsion Bar is placed in the midfoot section. This thermoplastic feature has the job of supporting the tendons and muscles of the underfoot, rescuing them from strain and fatigue during the run.

An insole is added on top of the primary foam. Its purpose is to add a bit more to the cushioning capacity of the platform. It can be removed or replaced with a custom insert of the wearer’s choosing.

The upper unit of the Adidas Speedfactory AM4SH makes use of a knitted textile. The cloth-like quality of this material evokes a sock-like coverage. It is breathable and form-fitting.

Slip-On design allows the runner to wear and remove the shoe quickly. The soft interior lining staves of skin irritation while maintaining in-shoe ventilation.

Thin and light patches are fuse-bonded onto the façade. These extra layers are meant to help the rest of the upper when it comes to hugging the foot and locking it in place. Some of them act as reinforcement to the eyelets of the lacing system.

An NFC chip on the instep allows the runner to track performance via the Adidas app.
