Inspired by vintage running silhouettes, the Adidas SL Andridge delivers a fresh style into running-inspired retro sneakers. The modern reinvention of the sneaker brings out its ability to function well as a casual shoe and blend in with the street-style trend.

This 70s-inspired low-top silhouette conveys versatility in style that enables it to complement various types of outfits for different occasions. This women’s sneaker exhibits a sporty and eye-catching appearance with its colorful look that keeps you looking stylishly fun and free on the streets whether you are just in a casual t-shirt and jeans. These kicks also work well with skirts and dresses.

Reshaped and restyled to be more modern-looking, the Adidas SL Andridge features a combination of satin nylon, patent leather, and suede on its upper construction for a shiny, smooth, and clean finish, projecting its heritage. Finishing up the design is its EVA and TPU midsole and its rubber outsole.

The SL Andridge also comes in multiple colorways in both minimal and colorful ones. These colorways include the Night Indigo/Periwinkle/Shock Pink, Cloud White/Linen, Chalk Coral/Night Indigo/Solar Yellow, Core Black/Cloud White, and the Multi-Color Trefoil pattern which pays tribute to the brand and its heritage.

The year 1972 marked a remarkable year in the world of sports, not only for the reason that it was an Olympic year where it was held in Munich, but also because it was the year that the Adidas SL first saw the light of day.

Short for “Super Light,” the SL silhouette was developed by the brand with the only purpose of being a fast shoe and provides the topmost traction, and also, a rather important detail of its design, it was the first silhouette to wear the Trefoil logo. Fast forward to today, the logo is one of the most recognized brand symbols internationally.

Like most of the vintage athletic silhouettes, Adidas pulled the silhouette out from the archives and redesigned in to be a lifestyle sneaker in the shape of the Adidas SL Andridge. The sneaker is restyled to give it a more casual appeal. It still sports the running-inspired design but with a shiny and smooth finish. This women-exclusive sneaker was released on the 5th of March, 2020.

  • The Multi-color version of the Adidas SL Andridge features a jacquard upper design.
