Adidas Seeley Outdoor History
In 1998, the Adidas Skateboarding was established under the Adidas Originals with products focused on skateboarding footwear and apparel.
Under Adidas Skateboarding is a line of skate shoes with silhouettes based on a boat shoe – the Adidas Seeley. The original model features a low-top structure, an all suede upper, and a vulcanized rubber outsole. From there, the Seeley evolved to several versions in a variation of materials released throughout the years.
One of the recent releases is the Adidas Seeley Outdoor. Made for the outdoors, it features weather-resistant and durable elements such as the premium suede or textile upper, gusseted tongue, and metal D-ring eyelets. Some details from the original silhouette are retained, such as the low-top construction, rounded toe, lace-up closure, vulcanized rubber outsole, and EVA sockliner.
It was initially released in two colorways, the Mesa (brown) and the Core Black, retailed at $75.
