The Adidas Samba MC Leather is a men’s sneaker that is available in US sizes 4-15 D. There are options for half sizes as well for broader selection. These sneakers come in a traditional lace-up closure, which permits a customizable fit to the user. More so, it features a more extended and slightly padded tongue which adds to a more secure fit.

Coming from a soccer shoe, the Adidas Leather MC is now refashioned into a more dressed up sneaker. Featuring a smooth leather upper and signature gum sole, these sneakers maintain its retro-look silhouette with minor style upgrades. Sporting a more minimal look from its original design, the Samba MC Leather skips some of its iconic elements like the Three Stripes logo on its sides.

These sneakers combine the style of a leather shoe and a sneaker. Because of this, it can quickly take any outfit from day to night and can compliment on and off court clothes. The Adidas MC Leather is available in three colorways- Scarlet, Black, and Charcoal.

Samba has reached its heights as Adidas’ second highest selling sneakers to date. Indeed, this shoe has become legendary that it can be treated synonymously to the brand. Just like one of its variations, the Samba MC Leather features the same low-top retro silhouette that is loved by the market.

Staying true to its roots of being a soccer-inspired sneaker, the MC leather features a cleat-inspired outsole which provides traction and grip on turf and hard surfaces. Because of this outsole, this shoe can also be used as a training shoe for different sports like hockey, badminton, and tennis.

Introduced by Adidas in 1950, Samba initially caters soccer fans to help players perform better by keeping their feet dry and protected during winter games. The original design sported a gum sole to provide more traction and a kangaroo-leather upper for additional comfort. It also carried the Three Stripes, classic T-toe, and gold trefoil logo on the tongue.

Aside from being a performance sneaker, Samba captivated not just soccer players but sneakerheads as well because of its clean and classic design that is stylish on and off the field.

Due to its fast response to the market’s demands, the sneaker has been refashioned into different Samba colorways and iterations using different materials but keeps the classic silhouette of the sneaker. Its popularity made it the second highest selling sneaker, after the famous Stan Smith. Moreover, standing still for 65 years makes it the truly a timeless sneaker that is still in production.

Despite the many colorway options available in the market today, the black and white colorway is claimed, although not proven, to be the most sought-after pair.

  • The Adidas MC Leather uses materials for its inside and outside that are eco-friendly.
  • Comfort is enhanced on these sneakers as it features a cushioned inner sole and padded tongue.
