Boost delivers a high level of cushioning, and will find favor with runners looking for a soft, yet responsive ride. However, the upper construction has cut-price execution, making the Response Boost look better in pictures than in flesh. The tip of toe box is extremely shallow, which means you’ll have to half size up even from adidas sizing.
At the end of the training, it can be seen that the fluid is stepped, there is a firm and stable responsiveness which in turn provide comfort, speed and traction on the different floors.
Updates to Adidas Revenergy Boost 2.0
- Energy is needed for speed, and speed is important for every run. The 2nd version of the Adidas Revenergy Boost gives the runner the boost needed to make every step as responsive and efficient as ever. Featuring technologies that assist in maintaining a well-energized performance, this shoe keeps the runner’s foot comfortable, secure and stable throughout every activity.
- The upper unit of this running shoe was engineered to conform to the movement of the foot. It’s meant to prevent any limitation to the capability of the foot to move naturally. It has a snug fit, so it feels like wearing a sock. A smooth inner lining prevents any discomfort or skin irritation.
- The mid-sole unit uses compounds and components that deliver a plush and responsive underfoot platform. High quality systems make sure that the mid-sole doesn’t break down easily. It is able to deliver responsible cushioning, a bounce-back mechanic, and mild stability to keep the foot away from discomfort or injury.
- The outsole unit of this running shoe features a full-length rubber material to deliver sure protection against the abrasive nature of the surface. It doesn’t wear off easily, so it remains effective even after many uses. Traction is also part of its purpose, letting the runner have sure surface control.
Adidas Revenergy Boost 2.0 size and fit
The Adidas Revenergy Boost 2.0 uses regular sizing schemes for men and women. It is available in many sizes, so that runners will be able to choose the one that suits them. A medium width is available for this model, allowing it to accommodate runners whose feet are medium-sized.
The outsole unit of the Adidas Revenergy Boost 2.0 uses the ADIWEAR™ technology. Made from high quality rubber and proprietary components, this layer protects the sole unit from abrasion and wear. It can also hold onto the surface well, giving the runner unmitigated control when turning, swerving and braking.
A lightweight EVA foam is used as the main mid-sole platform for the Adidas Revenergy Boost 2.0. It’s a reliable compound that doesn’t easily lose structure. It carries the foot well and gives a springiness to each step, making the underfoot experience feel as comfortable and secure as possible.
The boost™ mid-sole system was made from a set of cushioning pellets that, when combined, give a bouncy and energizing component. It absorbs energy with every step and gives that energy to the runner through an efficient propelling motion. It can manage impact, as well.
The TORSION® SYSTEM gives the mid-foot a stable frame that serves as the foundation of the platform. It cradles the arch, giving it support and stability for a well-balanced and smoother ride.
The main upper unit is made with soft and flexible textiles. Air mesh is placed in the rear section. These fabrics allow air to constantly enter the shoe to keep the foot cool and dry. They also allow natural flexibility to make sure that the foot is free to move.
Synthetic overlays are stitched onto the upper unit. These sections serve to provide structure to the upper and make sure that a snug and customizable fit is achieved. They’re connected to the lacing system, so every adjustment made to the shoelaces will cause the upper to follow suit.
The techfit® upper is a support system in the upper that’s meant to deliver a natural and flexible feel to the runner. It allows the foot to feel a sock-like fit, so it can wear the shoe without socks. The seamless construction even prevents skin irritation.
