- Just like the popular Adidas Ultra Boost, the Adidas Purebounce+ is a running shoe that’s optimized for the roads. It is also made for those who don’t have problems with pronation, though some foot steadiness if earned through the sidewall design of the midsole. Bounce+ serves as the cushioning system, and it’s made to provide reactive steps.
- The upper unit of this road running shoe is made up of a sock-like mesh. The material has the texture of cloth, allowing the foot to experience the familiar feeling of being wrapped in a sock. A garter-style collar secures the lower part of the leg, the ankles, and the Achilles tendon.
The Adidas Purebounce+ has a standard running shoe length. Runners can use their usual preferences when choosing a size, though it is worth noting that trying the shoe would ultimately contribute to an agreeable in-shoe experience. When it comes to width, the available options are D – Medium for men and B – Medium for women.
A rubber compound is used for the outsole unit of the Adidas Purebounce+. This layer completely shields the rest of the platform from abrasion and wear. Oval-shaped traction nodes are responsible for heightening surface grip.
Flex grooves line the entire surface of the external pad. These shallow trenches are modules that encourage foot flexibility and natural motion.
The midsole unit of the Adidas Purebounce+ uses Bounce+, which is a full-length unit designed to offer flexibility and invigorated steps. The rear portion has elevated sidewalls that hold the heel in place, preventing it from quivering or exiting the foot-chamber unintentionally.
The Sockfit mesh is used for the upper unit of the Purebounce+. This material resembles cloth, and it aims to provide a sock-like coverage that’s free of irritants. Moreover, it accommodates the natural shape and motion of the foot as it cycles through the running gait. Breathability is given via tiny slits on the fabric.
A garter collar completes the pseudo-sock structure of the silhouette. The one-piece configuration of this opening fundamentally turns this shoe into a slip-on option. A traditional tongue isn’t in place, though a soft internal lining aims to promote a consistently smooth wrap.
Pull tabs are placed on the back and front of the collar. These add-ons are tasked with helping the runner when it comes to facilitating the foot into the interior chamber.
