Summary

We spent 8.8 hours reading reviews from experts and users. In summary, this is what basketball players think:

7 reasons to buy

  • Many are quick to comment that the Adidas Pro Vision looks really dope, almost as dope as the more popular Harden 3 and Dame 5
  • According to one tester, the Pro Vision’s traction works very well on clean courts.
  • A reviewer notes that the rubber outsole is pretty thick. He says that outdoor use should be fine.
  • One player thoroughly enjoyed the Bounce cushioning. According to him, the cushioning is really responsive, has good court feel, and feels plush at the heel.
  • The lockdown and support are A+, a tester declares. There is no sliding inside the shoe, and the Achilles pillows keep the heel locked-in.
  • These Adidas basketball shoes feel light on-foot, a player claims.
  • The Adidas Pro Vision is a pretty comfortable basketball shoe, a reviewer asserts.

3 reasons not to buy

  • A reviewer is disappointed with the Pro Vision’s traction. According to him, the outsole loses its grip when playing on dusty courts.
  • The materials feel cheap in hand, a tester remarks.
  • These Adidas basketball shoes are very narrow, a player observes.

Bottom line

The Adidas Pro Vision has the makings of a great on-court performer. The cushioning, materials, fit, support, and lockdown all do their job wonderfully. These mid-top basketball shoes also have a 90’s-inspired style that will surely make you stand out. The Pro Vision’s only drawback is its hit or miss traction.

All things considered, the Pro Vision is still a good budget offering from Adidas. If you hoop outdoors or frequent clean indoor courts, then this basketball shoe is a no-brainer.
