Adidas Pharrell Williams BBC Hu NMD Style
Pharrell William’s take on several Adidas Originals silhouettes has set the trend for hypebeasts and sneakerheads wanting more personality and character on their footwear. The Adidas Pharrell Williams BBC Hu NMD continues this trend of East African inspired colorways and close attention to details. Stylists call the release as the Heart/Mind edition of the bestselling Adidas NMD shoe with Pharrell’s aesthetic inputs of embroidered “HEART” and “MIND” alternate on each shoe. The Adidas Pharrell Williams BBC Hu NMD for Fall 2018 first came out with a general release colorway comprising the White, Red, Navy, and Yellow tones in the upper that rests on top of a white Boost midsole and a black trail rubber outsole.
The second Heart/Mind Edition colorway is an exclusive release that only came out in the Billionaire Boys Club stores. The Pink/Purple colorway comes in a swirled pattern with the bold text of embroidered Japanese characters in the NMD upper that rests on top of a Boost midsole and a purple trail rubber outsole. This particular colorway commands a higher price among resellers.
With the bold colorways of this particular NMD iteration, many stylists suggest wearing the Adidas Pharrell Williams BBC Hu NMD with similarly colored shirts, track jackets, and hoodies like the BBC apparel that came out with the design. Wearers may also opt to wear the shoes with joggers, track pants, ankle-length jeans, and colored walking shorts for a fresh, colorful look. While this is a Fall 2018 sneaker release, many sneakerheads may also use this shoe during the spring and summer months as the bold colorways, and light materials in the upper make this shoe a comfortable sneaker to wear for extended shopping walks at the mall, exploring urban jungles while traveling, and for daily work commutes.
