One can lace-up the sneaker up to the ankles with its generous amount of eyelets and long laces. The mid-top ankle height is lightly padded with a breathable mesh interior. With a troubled family and an unparalleled drive for skateboarding, he headed to California where his career didn't take off smoothly at first. Johnson gained a bunch of friends and established a company called Enjoi, which pretty much put him in the skating limelight.
Reaching out to the origin of the rebel sport he loved, Marc Johnson signed up with Adidas and revamped the practical sneaker in the form of the Matchcourt Mid. They took the Matchcourt Mid and drenched its pig Nubuck upper in Pantone 542, the official color of NC. The exclusive match-up sneaker was set to release in March 2017 in select retail stores and the official Adidas Skateboarding website.
