Adidas designed the Matchcourt Mid Remix to contain everything you love about the Matchcourt including the great ankle support and durable build but enhanced the shoe further with the new stylized toe for greater control and a grippy sole for matchless board feel.

The Adidas Matchcourt debuted in the 1980s as a tennis shoe. It evolved from the Adidas model, the Nizza, which featured a rubber toe cap and clean, classic court style. The Matchcourt enjoyed relative success until it was removed from the Adidas catalog. The silhouette was reissued in 2015, this time as part of the brand’s skateboarding collection.

The 2015 version featured new details that made the shoe more suited to the sport of skateboarding including an enhanced grip for precise board feel. The model was released in three colorways: white-on-white, scarlet and white, and black and white.

Since the Matchcourt’s reissue, Adidas has continued to release new iterations for the silhouette including a slip-on version called the Matchcourt Slip ADV, a collaboration with Paris-based Magenta Skateboards, and a mid-top version called the Matchcourt Mid Remix.
