- The Adidas GSG9 Trail incorporates TRAXION ®, a durable rubber material that’s meant to deliver traction and protection against wear and tear. It also aims for excellent ground contact while the foot experiences an even distribution of impact-pressure. The design works by clamping onto the ground to provide maximum traction. This avoids unnecessary slippage and keeps the runner’s foot secure on wet and dry surfaces.
The shoe is specially designed for trail running. It accommodates the runners who have medium sized feet. The shoe is the available width is medium or B and D for men and women, respectively.
The Adidas GSG9 Trail uses a flexible, lightweight rubber on its outsole. It is also resilient and durable. It is also responsible for traction, which is important when it comes to controlling the movements on the surfaces.
The shoe also utilizes a lug design pattern called TRAXION®, which works by holding onto the ground and providing optimal grip. This reduces the chances of slippage and injury while the runner is on the move.
The shoe utilizes Adiprene in the midsole, which is known for its durability and flexibility. It enhances the cushioning of the shoe and gives a springy response to the foot. The responsive nature of this foam results in a balanced heel-to-toe transition during the run.
EVA or Ethylene vinyl acetate is a foam unit that’s meant to deliver responsible cushioning to the foot of the runner. As it does this purpose, it also attenuates impact shock, making each step more agreeable.
Same as with the popular road running shoe, the Adidas Ultra Boost, a sock liner based on Ortholite technology is also placed in the Adidas GSG9 Trail. This insert manages the moisture effectively and prevents bacteria from causing odor. Also, it is lightweight and washable.
The upper has a breathable mesh material that allows the air to go in the shoe to keep the foot cool and dry. It covers the foot securely, as well.
A traditional lacing system is used in the Adidas GSG9 Trail. It makes the fit more agreeable and customizable.
Overlays are stitched onto the main mesh material, reinforcing it and making it more structured. They’re also meant to hug the foot snugly.
Pull-labs in the tongue and heel sections make it easier for runners to wear and remove the shoe.
