Similar to its predecessor, the Adidas Galaxy Elite 2 utilizes a breathable mesh upper with a synthetic leather coverage for comfort and security.
Adiprene delivers an improved cushioning experience during the run. Two versions of this foam technology are utilized in the mid-sole unit and they’re meant to make each step as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Also, its appearance is slightly minimalistic, unlike its previous model, which was a bit too showy and colorful.
The shoe is available in the medium width of B and D for men and women, respectively. It is basically designed for neutral road runners and has a standard running length.
Similar to the popular Adidas Duramo 9, the Adidas Galaxy Elite 2 utilizes AdiWEAR in its outsole. It is a non-marking rubber that’s characterized by toughness and flexibility. Its use in the outsole ensures a firm grip on level ground. The flexibility of the material allows easy foot-movements with safe landings, even at places where high strains may be experienced. Being non-abrasive, the material gives the shoe a long life.
ADIPRENE® is a cushioning unit that’s meant to deliver responsible cushioning to the wearer’s foot. It also has a shock-absorbing capability, which is helpful when it comes to the act of striking the foot on the ground. It is located in the heel area.
ADIPRENE®+ is a more responsive version of this foam technology. On top of its capability to cushion the foot well, it also has a propulsive nature, which is helpful when it comes to making the toe-off more energized.
A foam insole has been added to provide a bit more cushioning to the underfoot.
The upper utilizes a breathable mesh fabric that keeps the foot cool and dry because of its ability to accommodate airflow into the foot-chamber. It’s lightweight and it wraps around the foot snugly and securely.
The lace-up closure on the top with the synthetic leather overlay holds the foot firmly and securely in place.
